Making change for Katrina

The causes of global warming are generally agreed upon. Global warming is linked to the increased amounts of carbon Dioxide and other greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. Mass industrialisation via an increase in our use of fossil fuels for manufacturing, heat supplies, power generation, and transport is pointed to as the root cause of these problems. The systematic destruction of rainforests, and other woodlands, which once absorbed these gasses is also cited.
