Background Check -Things To Consider

February 5th, 2008 . by admin

It will be interesting to know that in most jurisdictions in western countries where taking a  background check  for the purposes of employment is routine, there are often some safeguards in place to protect an applicant’s or an employee’s privacy. For example, waivers need to be signed by the applicant or the employee before a check could be done, signifying that they concede their right to privacy and allow their records to be checked. However, employers cannot compel applicants to take a background check. On the other hand, they cannot be compelled by anyone to take on an employee who refuses to submit to one.
