Use High End Shops to Compare Holiday Decorations with Crafts Stores
If you are watching your pennies, you can save a lot of money by using your imagination and getting creative when planning your decorating strategy for the holidays. Try going in to a high end holiday shop. Study the designer styled Christmas trees and decorations. Look at the price tags and try not to have a heart attack at the astronomically overpriced items. If you can, take a photo with your camera phone to use as an example. Many stores will allow for this, while others do not, so make sure that you check to see if it is alright before you start snapping pictures. Once you are ready, head down to your local crafts store to see if you can find items that are comparable to the high end stores that you can make yourself. You will be absolutely shocked at how little you will spend for supplies and how similar the finished item will look to the high priced item in the store. When you are finished, you can compare holiday decorations and I would be willing to bet, many people would not be able to tell the difference!
