I have been using a cordless telephone for many years now, it started off at University and I have then gone on to use one for most of my life. These little devices can be wonderful. However, I have also had to return my fair share of handsets because they were simply not up to scratch. One of the most important things is to make sure that the battery life is long enough for your needs. One of the most annoying things is being cut off in the middle of an important call because the battery dies. Personally I would also make sure that if at all possible you have a back up normal phone, the reason for this is because many cordless phones need to be plugged in or they don’t work and without a back up normal phone, if there is a power cut you are phone-less.
