I find that the only difference between stone and acrylic counter tops is the way you fasten the clips that hold the sink in place. These undermount sinks can have faucets mounted that can be mounted on a ledge that sits inside the sink edge, or can be made separately from fixtures that are set into the counter.

I have seen that these undermount sinks are another rimless option that feature sink bowls fused to the underside of the counter. This installation method should not be used with laminate counters but works well with solid surfacing, stone, or stainless steel surfaces.
