I Used Foam Pipe Insulation to Keep Cold and Hot Water Pipes Cost Efficient

Keeping my home running efficiently includes keeping heating and cooling bill costs down. After inspecting all of my pipes in the garage, I found that some of the insulation around them was aging and in need of replacing. I looked at foam pipe insulation to cover my hot and cold water pipes. By covering them with foam, I am able to keep condensation from forming on the cold water pipes and keeping the water hotter. It keeps me from having to constantly change the thermostat on the hot water heater when it gets cold outside. In the summer, the cold water does not always get cold unless the pipes are insulated.

  1. When I used foam pipe insulation it gives me the greatest possible control for piping system application. It is well suited in carrying fluids within the temperature range that is needed, and with its proper use it will prevent premature failure and result of lost insulation efficiency.
