Choosing A Portable Freezer

If you’re in the market for a portable freezer you’ve basically got three option – propane, 12v or 12v / 120v dual power. Propane freezers are the most portable, since they don’t need any kind of external power source, but they also tend to be more expensive and require more maintenance over time. Since propane can be dangerous, you need to ensure they get serviced properly and on a regular basis to avoid leaks or other hazards. Propane models also tend to be more effective at freezing things, because they have stronger cooling systems, so if the items you’re freezing are particularly prone to going bad you should stick with a propane model.
