Why Hearing Tests Are Important In Todays Workplace

Hearing tests are required in many companies that have industrial noise. A hearing test not only grades a persons level of hearing annually; it also keeps one aware to protect their hearing. There are numerous types of hearing protection available now days. One of the most popular types are foam ear plugs. You simply roll them up and stick them in your ears. They swell inside the ear canal and block out a large portion of outside noise. Another type is overhead earphones. This is not as popular as earplugs but it is a very effective form of hearing protection.
