Medical assistant jobs are in high demand because the aging population is growing and needs care. Medical assistants help physicians to ensure the smooth running of their offices. One has to be trained, usually in medical assisting schools. However, to be a registered or certified medical assistant one will have to take a course with the American Technologists agency; to be certified one has to go through the American Association of Medical Assistants. One can take a medical assistant degree too.
