Great growth prospects in the medical industry

I was recently browsing a jobs forum and came across an ad for a medical billing and coding specialist. I am not familiar with this area but it sounded interesting. I have been looking for a career change. A little further investigation revealed that I need to be suitably qualified to work in this position. The courses can be completed in as little as 6 to 18 months. I am looking further into this because it sounds like a great opportunity in a fast growing industry.
