13 July 2008

With an increase in demand for dental services, becoming a dental hygienist is a great career move. The demand is a result of population growth, with America experiencing an influx of immigrants. Also, older people are retaining more teeth and requiring extended care. Dental hygienist is one of the fastest growing occupations, with an expected30 percent job growth through 2016. This is a much faster average than other occupations, although not surprising because of relationship to the healthcare industry, another fast growing field. As the role of the dental hygienist expands to perform services that were previously performed by dentists, dental offices will have to hire more hygienists.

Online Interior Design Schools Other Than The School I’m At?

9 July 2008

I’m considering going into design for home and business. I’ve been going to college locally for the last four years already and am tired of the drive daily, the gas prices and trying to find a parking place.

While the school I’m at now does offer some courses online, I’m looking at Online Interior Design Schools other than the one I’m at.

I already have an arts degree and wonder if this would be better suited to my personality. I already know someone that runs an interior design store locally and does design work also so I’d likely be able to get my internship later with them in order to get certified.

Class Participation Online

5 July 2008

Educational funding loans have also become easier to obtain.  Online institutions are recognized by FAFSA, as well as lending sources like Sallie Mae and local banks.Obtaining higher education online is not for everyone.  There is a certain amount of self-discipline involved.  One must have the motivation and the inclination to log in for courses at least a certain number of times per week.  The only one pushing you to succeed is normally yourself.  There is no one to stand over your shoulder pushing you to do your assignments.  And while many online school environments such as distance education alagappa university have devised a way to get class participation, you do not have that face to face contact that some of us need to be able to succeed.

Where Can I Get A Degree?

17 June 2008

I would really love to work in the health field. It seems like there are always jobs available in this field, and the pay is usually decent for any of the positions requiring a decent amount of training. However, I am not a big fan of dealing with blood and guts, so I was thinking that a job as a physical therapist would be good for me. Where can I find out more about how to become a physical therapist? I know I need to get a degree, but I am not sure which universities offer the right degree. Can anyone tell me where I can find out more?

Canadian Work Visa

20 May 2008

I am Mrs. Brown. My son always wanted to pursue his higher education in Canada. He had even applied for the immigration in Canada. But due to lack of knowledge about the procedures and the documents needed my son lost this first opportunity. We tried to go about the process on our own. But seriously, it is not everybody's cup of tea. I strongly recommend that you opt for the Canadian immigration consultant for an canadian work visa. These consultants know their stuff very well and are apt persons to assist you in the immigration process. Even we are now under the guidance of an immigration agent and it is indeed a wise decision we have taken.

19 May 2008

Hey everybody, I am Thomas. Growing competition in all the business endeavors is fast catching on my attention. This spirit has now rubbed off on me too. I plan to expand my business and feel that there is no better place than Australia to do so and I'm getting an australia work visas. Australia provides superb opportunities and openings for business development. As I have my own business back here since last five years, getting this visa hopefully won't be a problem. I plan to apply for a long term business visa and check out the openings here. I just cannot wait for the visa to fall in my hands and then I am off to Australia!

A Career as a Dental Assistant

14 April 2008

A dental assistant career has lots of potential since the demand is expected to rise on a higher than average rate till 2016 and with new generation dentists replacing older dentists with their hi-tech dental equipments, they will be more than happy to have an additional pair of hands assisting them. You too can earn around $33,000 per year and maybe much more if you work with more dentists in a day. It can be a satisfying career with regular income with a 3 to 4 working day week. If your hands and nerves are steady, then you can also look forward to regular promotions.

Surgey Job Openings

26 February 2008

Years of school, years of residency, and no job. Sigh. Now I have to dig around looking for surgey job openings.
I might have to consider changing my specialty. You wouldn’t think that Cardiac Surgeon Jobs would be so scarce, but it seemslike they are.
The medical placement agencies just aren’t finding me the type of surgery position I want. I’m at a loss as to what to do next.
