I had occasion today to board a BC Ferry to take my wife & I on a ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, near Vancouver, to a quaint little town called Langdale, on BC’s Sunshine Coast.

A delightful 40min ride in an outstanding part of Canada, clear blue sky, dead calm, everything was perfect, almost.

You see there were numerous passengers who were aboard that had obvious disabilities, and were in electric wheelchairs, and a couple of elderly gentlemen riding mobility scooters.

I’m all for disabled people getting out and enjoying our beautiful country as much as I do, but please folks, just because you’re in a mobility scooter, you don’t own the place. We were witness to the rudest chap barging into the lineup for the cafeteria, snarling at passengers lining up to “let me through, get outta the way” type commands, and being generally very obnoxious.

We (able bodied) folk have rights to, & you don’t have the right to make our lives unpleasent because you’re upset with your lot in life.

If you have any combination of little babies still in strollers, just traveling around town can become a problematic event. By the time you have packed multiple diaper handbags, clothed more than one kid, and have everyone settled down, you are ready to throw in the towel. The thought of having to load 2 distinct strollers in the car is not a pleasant one. That is why these parents are thankful for whoever created double baby strollers. Owning a double stroller has decreased stress in many homes by making their life much easier. Purchasing one of these strollers will make going out in public once more a joyful event.

Training, even employer paid training, in the medical profession is not hard to come by!  Medical jobs are in vast supply, not seeing half as many cut-backs as most businesses in todays economy, and many even offer paid training.  If you take advantage of the paid training offered by many employers in the medical field, you are guaranteed promotion!  Keep in mind that with this paid training and promotion that is inevitable, you will certainly receive higher pay as well!  So, go for that medical job, even if it is entry level!  It will be in your best interest long term!

When it comes to tracing your Irish genealogy and making your family tree, the first step should always be to talk to your family and make a note of what they have to say. Then you should gather up all the information possible from documents, such as birth certificates, death certificates, and marriage certificates. Graveyard inscriptions, memoriam cards and whatever else can be obtained should be regarded as gold. When you have these things in your possession you will be better placed to speak to an elderly relative about what they can tell you about your Irish Ancestry, and these items could be the trigger to them remembering in detail.

How you go about finding out if Internet affairs are going on is up to you, but checking the history on the computer is one good way to start. You may find links that tell you all you need to know. With these different programs you can help to support your children while providing them with a new alternative to enjoy a vacation filled with learning and activities.

Receiving unemployment benefits is great (and much needed for most people). In order to receive the benefits, you must file your request weekly. My children go to the perfect daycare. I know it is perfect, because my sister owns and operates it. It even has one of the most perfect names: Bright Starts Daycare. She offers an excellent childcare environment and even has plans to start a preschool in the very new future. Right now, the search is on to find three, above average certified teachers to make printable lesson plans and teach the children. Each room of the daycare has a different theme. For instance, my favorite room has a dog theme. There are different colored shapes and sizes of dogs printed all over the carpet on floor.
