I have worked for a car rental call center for ten years. I started off as a customer service agent, and I am now the manager over the entire call center. I have seen the company go through a lot of changes during my tenure. The most dramatic changed occurred when we discovered that some of our systems were coming up missing. That is when management thought it would be wise to contact a Computer Security Consulting Firm to get some ideas on our options. The firm came up with some great ideas, which ended up saving the company a lot of money.

I worked for a boss that was too nice, which is something that I rarely say about any of my previous bosses. He does not think that there are any bad people out there in the world, and I wish that I could agree with him. I have found that not be the case on too many occasions. I had to let him know that I thought that it was in his best interest to use Computer Security Programs. I had my reasons for making the suggestion to him, but I chose not to elaborate any more than I did on the subject.

Unlisted residential phone numbers are now easily available online, usually for free or for a small price. Especially with the accessibility of broadband internet nowadays, the saying that information is now on your fingertips is now almost too literal. All you need is some equipment, a listings site, and the information like phone number or exact name of the people you’re trying to find, and you won’t have to look up local phone books or get entangled in different phone companies’ hotlines anymore. But why do you need to find unlisted residential phone numbers, anyway? Well, one good reason is that you have to know who keeps on calling your home phone, or who owns the unknown number that you’re unfamiliar with but is always on your phone bills. With just some tap in the keyboard and clicks on the mouse, you’ll soon learn who the owner is of the unfamiliar digits you’re very curious about.

Most businesses around the world suffer from goods and data stolen by their own employees. As a business owner you cannot be at all places at one time but you can use technology to keep such thieves in check. While CCTV cameras can be helpful, they can still be outsmarted by employees in disguise. A biometric device that could include a fingerprint scanner or an iris scanner could not only keep a record of all present and past employees but also catch them quickly if they try to outsmart the system and make off with your inventory or data. Due to increased affordability, many companies are also going in for 2 factor authentication or multifactor authentication to construct a foolproof system that cannot be outsmarted by over-smart criminals.
