Another way to lower the costs of home staging is to clean the gutters outside of your house.  How your home looks outside almost makes up 50% of the buyer’s first impression.  If they see that the gutters outside the house are cluttered with leaves and other debris and chiming walls clocks.  It will make them think that house maintenance is very poor.  Buyers don’t want to inherit a seller’s cleaning problems so better to clean up your act and start cleaning those gutters.

Clear the kitchen counter space.  Kitchens are the heart of the home and this means buyers will want to know if there will be room to grow in that space.  Clear away unnecessary counter appliances and kitchen decorations to give the buyers an impression of more space.

When we built our home, the blueprints didn’t include enough storage for us. Instead, we’re buying a Suncast Storage Building to use in conjunction with our garages. They bring in a number of rentals and the equipment makes short work of the job. If I had to do this shredding with a desktop model, I wouldn’t get anything else accomplished. We have a storeroom that gets filled once a year with these old documents. It’s an 8 x 10 room and boxes are crammed into it. Shredding everything in there would take months without the help of the service.

I drove up to see my brother this past weekend in Coursegold. He has been building a house up there for the past months. He is getting a lot done and I’m impressed with his progress.
