A New Clock for My Room

The other day, I took my little girl shopping. She is moving out of her toddler bed so we needed to get new bed linens for her big girl bed. While at the store, I found the neatest Modern Wall Clocks. One had a waterfall built right into it and I just had to get it for my bedroom. The soothing sound of the water will help put my husband to sleep. Now he has to sleep with a fan or a heater running. Hopefully this clock means we won’t have to do this anymore. I hate running those year round.

Whether you are a fan or just live with one, the baseball glove chair helps bring the action of the diamond into your home. Chairs can be some of the more whimsical types of home, and even office furniture, available to designers, home owners and office managers. Just think about the bean bag chair, or chairs designed to look like race cars. For whatever reason, though the basic design of furniture has been unchanged for hundreds of years, the chair is where we often go to when we want to express our most creative impulses through furniture. The baseball glove chair is another excellent example of this phenomenon.

I am a single father of two sons, whom I am raising on my own, since my beloved wife passed away two years ago. Her wish was to always make sure our boys would stay physically active, and it was my mission to honor her wish. I went out and bought Exercise Bike Equipment and showed it to my sons. The three of us wanted to honor my wife and their mother, and dedicate our lives to staying healthy and in good shape. Doing this routine has reaped amazing heath benefits for all of us. While I will always miss my wife, I know she is watching over the three of us with a big smile of approval.

I am trying to look into getting some aerial photos done. Can anyone tell me which companies take aerial photos of homes? I want to see how much it would cost to get this done, and what my options are. I am just in the research stage right now since I am not positive whether or not I am going to actually need the photos. I just want to be prepared to go ahead with this should it turn out that it is necessary. I would love to have a few companies to check out so that I am aware of the different possibilities.

One of the requests made by our kids when we were looking for a new house was: find one with a kitchen counter and Kitchen Counter Stools! Their “cool Aunt Judy” is the one that got them hooked on the idea. Whenever they have sleepovers at her house, she gets up early and makes them chocolate chip pancakes shaped like Mickey Mouse and serves them at the cool bar on the high stools. When we saw this place, we had to make an offer for them. Now, Dad and Mom get to be the “cool” ones on Saturday mornings and do the same thing.

How Do I Paint Bathroom Tile?

17 June 2010

Posted by Lemuel,There are some times when you might choose to paint right over ceramic tiles, rather than replacing them – for example, if you are doing a quick fix-up of a rental property. Here is how to do the job quickly and easily, and end up with a reasonably good-looking surface.

To paint bathroom tile, first prepare the tiles by replacing any broken ones, and then clean them thoroughly. Next, apply two coats of a suitable primer, sanding lightly both between coats and after the final coat. You need to do this so the next coat has a rougher surface to cling to.

Finally, apply one or two coats of gloss. It may help if you paint the grout first, either with the same, or even a contrasting color. Allow to dry, and … voila! … your new bathroom as ready!
